Hi, I’m Abby Newton
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique story. Whether I’m helping a child build emotional skills, guiding a teen through big transitions, or partnering with an adult seeking clarity or healing, I work to create a space where you can feel understood and empowered. I believe growth happens when we feel safe enough to explore what’s hard and hopeful enough to imagine what’s possible. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, building tools that support resilience, confidence, and meaningful change.
My Approach
I offer a supportive, collaborative, and developmentally attuned approach to therapy for individuals of all ages. My work is rooted in the belief that people grow best when they feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. I tailor each session to the needs of the person in front of me, drawing from evidence‑based practices and a deep appreciation for each client’s strengths, culture, and lived experience.
For children, I use interactive and creative methods that help them express emotions, build coping skills, and make sense of their world in ways that feel natural and engaging. With adolescents, I focus on building trust, supporting identity development, and helping them navigate the challenges of school, relationships, and growing independence.
Adults can expect a grounded, compassionate space where we explore patterns, clarify goals, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right. Whether someone is managing stress, healing from past experiences, or seeking greater balance and connection, I approach therapy as a partnership—one that honors both vulnerability and resilience.
Across all ages, my goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and capable of creating the life they want.
